AI-integrated Teaching Material
As our final Current Issues in Teaching course assignment, we were asked to work in groups of two or three and create AI-integrated teaching material. Like the previous assignment, I worked with Yiğit Gökay (click here to visit Yiğit's blog).
In the material, we might give a writing or image creation task and I decided to give an image creation task as I had already used an AI tool to create images. As the pre-task, students will describe the images that I created by using DALL-E. Then in the target task, students will create new images by using an AI tool. After that for the post-task, students will compare the images that they and I created.
I used Canva to create the materials and as I wrote I used DALL-E to create images. However, I wanted students to use Copilot which is a free AI tool by Microsoft since DALL-E is not free.
